The AE3 Mk II 250W 3 Way Floor Standing Loudspeaker 6 ohm Impedance - Piano Black

Whilst keeping the character transparency and dynamics of the AE1 Mk III the new AE3 provides much increased power handling and bass extension. This has been achieved by making the AE3 a true 3 way speaker in both its drive unit configuration and internal cabinet design.

HF Unit: Doped fabric diaphragm.Central clamp and phase corrector. Metal chassis directly interfaced with Reference One alloy plate baffle for low vibration.Shielded neodymium cup magnet system. Low fundamental resonance for lowest coloration and improved linearity
Mid Unit: 100mm diameter magnesium die cast chassis. Open low reflection frame design. High performance closed field neodymium magnet system. Low stray field. Vented rear suspension. Air pumped cooling. Low loss outer suspension. Non-conductive glass fibre voice coil former. Precision 32mm power voice coil. 105mm Pure Piston hyperbolic aluminium alloy cone depth anodised to traditional AE practice.
Bass Unit: Twin 125mm mid/bass drivers with 26mm voice coil die cast chassis high power magnet system and lightweight alloy cone. Magnetically shielded.
